Vendo connects brands to marketplaces, run by media businesses or creators, selling products in a dropshipping model at a cost of a sales commission.
Brands agree to a sales commission taken from each of their orders captured through Vendo-powered marketplaces.
For example, if a sales commission is 30%:
the brand payout for a given order is 70% of the order's total
plus the entire shipping amount
plus the 70% of the sales tax amount
minus the 70% of the payment processing fees which are covered proportionally by the brand and the marketplace

How to change the sales commission after a brand signup
If you've learned about Vendo from our website, you're probably signing up on your own initiative.
Once you sign up, you will join the Vendo Brand Network, which connects brands with marketplaces so they can sell more together.
Go to Settings in your Vendo dashboard to check your sales commission rate.
The default sales commission rate for Brand Network is 30%. This rate will be used by default in all marketplace partnerships created through Brand Network.
If you wish to change the sales commission rate, provide a new value in the commission rate field. Save your changes by clicking Update.
Most brands offer around 30% to incentivize the marketplaces. If that doesn't work for your product category or space, it's probably not a good fit.
It is important to note that changing the commission rate will only apply to partnerships created in the future.
Please contact us if you'd like to change the sales commission rate for an existing partnership.
How to change the sales commission after an email invite
When you are invited to a Vendo-powered marketplace with an email, the marketplace owner will propose a commission rate in the invitation.
To view the invitation, visit your Vendo Inbox and click see details next to the invitation.
To accept the proposal and start selling on the marketplace, click Accept partnership.
