Vendo features an option types mapper that allows marketplace owners to unify the display values for sizes, colors, or other option types that are used to create product variants (e.g. Material, Style, Flavor, Capacity). It's especially useful to limit variations during filtering and ease product discovery.

1. Login to Vendo Dashboard

2. Go to Products / Filters

Filters are used on the product listing page to allow customers to filter products by specific attributes, e.g. color and size. Let's map sizes.

3. Click on the "Map Values" button next to the selected option (Size)

You'll see the list of all size option values. They were created automatically, along with products that were imported to your store. Let's click on the dropdown next to "Small" to change its display to "S".

4. Click "Save" and continue with other values.

You can also add a new value if you want to unify the format without using any of the downloaded options.

5. Review your changes

As you can see, we have unified the display sizes for a few different brands. It's clear S to XL, with the most popular options on top.

The mapping does not affect how your products will be displayed on their product details pages; it affects filtering, not how the values will be displayed on the variants dropdowns.
