Access to data regarding product performance and sales volume is crucial in e-commerce. Vendo provides it's users with the option to generate detailed product performance report.
What is a product performance report?
A product performance report is a comprehensive document containing detailed information about how products sold on your store perform. It includes the following data:
product_id
- identification number of the product exported from Vendoproduct_name
- product name exported from Vendoproduct_url
- link to product detailed page within Vendo dashboardproduct_vendor
- the name of the partner selling & shipping this productproduct_brand
- name of the brand to which the product belongs tocategory_lvl0
- name of the main category to which the product is assigned
e.g. Women's Fashion -> Jewelrycategory_lvl1
- name of the first level category in which the product is classified
e.g. Women's Fashion -> Jewelryrrp
- the price at which the manufacturer suggests the retailers sell its productweeks_online
- number of weeks since the product was added to Vendogross_sales
- total sales of all its products over a period of a specified timediscount
- the amount of combined discounts buyers receive upon buying the producttax
- the amount of combined tax price (included in the product sales)commission_total
- the sum of the combined commission for the product salescommission_rate
- rate (in %) of commission payment of the productquantity
- the combined number of sold product volumestotal_sales
- the total income for all units of product sold
The report can be exported as a .csv file from Vendo dashboard. Exported file s sent to the user per e-mail.
Export the product performance report (PPR)
Sign in to your Vendo account
Navigate to
Home
page.
Scroll down to the
Top Products
section and clickShow full report
button.
You will land on Products performance page.
The Products Performance Page within Vendo dashboards shows a list of 100 top sellers (for a set range of time).
Specify the period of time for which you'd like to generate the PPR
Click on the date above the Sales chart.
Use the first date to set the beginning of the date range and the second date to determine the end date for the report.
The days included will be colored blue.
You can also use shortcuts on the right-hand side of the date modal for six predefined date ranges: Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, This Month, and Last Month
Click the
Export
button in the upper-right corner.
Exported file s sent to the user per e-mail. It usually takes just a couple of minutes, but it may vary depending on product list size and platform traffic.
Check your Inbox for email titled Your products performance report for <Marketplace name> from <date and hour of report generation> is ready! The product performance report file is added as an attachment to the email.
