Vendo is customizable in terms of return rules for your products. You can easily mark products as non-returnable or choose a few other options, that correspond to your returns policy.
If a Return rule is assigned to a product, it is exposed on PDP, on the marketplace which is selling your products.
How to add return rules
Go to
Products
on the left side panel, and chooseReturn Rules
.Browse the pre-made options (14, 30, 60, 90 days policy and non-returnable) or click
Add Return Rule
button in the upper right corner of your screen.You can name your new rule on the new screen and set the return period in days.
Leave the period blank for the "no limit" rule.On the right-hand side, you will find a space where you can setup simple rules to assign the rule to the product automatically. You can choose between tags (downloaded from your Shopify if you use it) or based on product categories.
Click
Create
at the bottom to save your new rule. It can be used along with the pre-made ones from now on.
How do you assign return rules to products?
Go to the
Products
section to see the list of your products
Select the products you want to assign the rule to from the list
Click on two dots in the panel at the bottom and select
set return rule
.
Choose the rule you want to assign to selected products.
See that the policy column now displays the newly selected value
Observe that the selected products will display the selected rule on the storefront. In this case, we do not want the products to be returnable. A non-returnable policy information will be displayed on the product details page.
